Cooperative Office Education (COE) is a work based learning program for students interested in exploring the world of work and preparing for college. This program will earn selected seniors four credits toward graduation. COE is designed so that students attend a one period class in the morning and work in an office atmosphere in the afternoon. This is in addition to other courses needed for graduation. Current COE students are employed at the Library of Congress, Department of Justice, Department of Interior, Environmental Protection Agency, Insurance Offices, Medical Offices, Law Firms, and many more. All students are in paid positions. Class content include college preparation, career exploration, resume preparation, work ethics, filing, tax preparation, oral and written presentations, portfolios, and much more. Requirements
