SAT Preparation Course Course Description
(1/2 credit, single mod)
Students will become familiar with the SAT format, test taking skills, and critical thinking skills. In addition, students will review basic arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric concepts for the mathematics section with particular attention to the format of quantitative comparisons. Students will review reading strategies and vocabulary development for the verbal section of the SAT. Also extensive work in critical and comparative reading as well as analogical reasoning will be presented. Simulated test taking and regular feedback will be an integral part of the class. Students must be taking Geometry or above.
