Please note the
following
 |
There is no pass or fail |
 |
The GPA Score is calculated by multiplying the
Weighted GPA
by 25
|
 |
Algebra and geometry taken either year receive
extra weight
|
 |
Science courses at math and science magnet schools
also receive
extra weight
|
 |
The Total Score is computed by adding the GPA
Score, the
Verbal
Percentile,
the Math
Percentile
|
 |
Students with the top 225-250 scores are admitted
to Eleanor
Roosevelt
High
School's
Science and
Technology
Program. The
next 60
students are
placed on
the Waiting
List
|
 |
The Program only has room for a limited number of
students.
The fact
that a
student does
not make the
cut off,
does not
mean that
student
would not
find success
at Eleanor
Roosevelt
High School
or in
another
academic
setting
|
 |
Notification of selection is made in mid to late
March. At
that time,
students who
have been
selected for
admission or
placed on
the Waiting
List are
notified of
an
orientation
and
pre-registration
program
|
 |
All students on the Waiting List should make
alternate
academic
plans
