Photoshop: Shapes
Step One: Find the Shapes tool in the toolbar (highlighted on left). Hold down the mouse until the Custom Shape Tool is selected (see left).
Next, go to the Menubar at the top, and click on the Custom Shape Picker and click on the Blue Arrow. Next, click on the arrow on the right in order to see options.
From the Menu, choose "All" and append or OK. (No need to save).
Step Two. Open a new file 12x16",
resolution 150, RGB.
Look over the shapes (shown at right).
Step Three: Select one by clicking on it, and move your mouse to the file. Drag to create the shape.
Step Four: Experiment with all shapes!
Ste Five: Transform your shapes by using Layer Effects, changing color, etc. (menu bar at the top of the screen),
Create an page that utilizes everything shape you see!
MINILESSON: Make a new Photoshop page that is Choose at least three symbols and create a work of your own design. Experiment! This is your chance to do your own thing, creatively!
Be sure your finished page has a good center of attention!
