Extra Credit Journal!
This is a LIMITED OPPORTUNITY!
This journal will ONLY be available until Tuesday, March 11th. No extra credit
will be added to your grade after that date. If you are absent, you miss it! You MAY
turn it in EARLY if you know you will not be in class that day. Or you may send it
with a friend, on Tuesday, if you cannot be in class.

This journal grade will AVERAGE IN with the other journal grades. It will not replace
a missed journal or a low grade.

REQUIREMENTS: This journal should show time, effort, thought and research. It should be a showcase of what you have learned about journaling!
1) Drawing & Coloring: All of the page must be filled with drawing & coloring.
2) Collage: NO PICTURES, photos, clippings or shots from the website.
Use collage correctly, ONLY as a tool to create texture or enrichen color.
(No “stuck on” pieces just to say you have collage!)
3) Meaningful text: Must be handwritten AND reflect your reading! Show me what you've learned in your research!
4) Rich, full color, texture and PATTERN!!
5) Good composition; journal shows growth!!
6) Must be in your journal. No loose pages, glued in pages or taped in pages will be accepted.

 

Must be an “A” or "B" work to help your grade!! Must be IN THE JOURNAL to count, not done on a separate sheet of paper and glued/stampled/added in!
