COUNTDOWN CALENDAR
for Underclassmen '08!
Final Exam Date: MONDAY,
JUNE 2, 2008.
You
must be in attendance on exam day, even if your portfolio is turned in.
Please remember that
according to county policy, you must make prior arrangements to take a final
exam early.
If you are going to ask for an exception, please be prepared to show evidence
to your administrator or Mr. Horn, as to your reasons.
FINAL EXAM REQUIREMENTS: Two things are due as part of the final exam (MON., June 2, 2008):
Portfolio Due
Date:
Your portfolio is due no later than 15 minutes prior to the end of class,
on exam day, MONDAY, June 2, 2008.
A schedule of posted times will be given the day of
the exam. Worth: 400 points
1. The Final Exam: The exam will be given on exam day. Exam questions will appear online for previewing on the evening of Friday, May 30, 2008. On Exam Day, I will supply an ip address in order for you to submit your exam to the TECHNO account. You will submit your exam in a Word file on Exam day. Your exam will not be accepted prior to the Final Exam date without prior permission from the administration. Worth: 50 points
2. The Portfolio: You will also turn in your Electronic Portfolio. The cumulative electronic portfolio is worth 400 points this nine weeks, and should contain ALL work from the year. It should conform to the portfolio requirements and instructions given to you earlier in the year. (See the list (right) for projects from this nine weeks.) You may turn it in early, with permission from Ms. Cunningham. (Remember that the Dropbox dumps, and is deleted daily. If I don't know you're turning it in early, it will be lost!)
PORTFOLIO INSTRUCTIONS: For maximum points, your portfolio must conform to the portfolio requirements and instructions. SCREEN SHOTS ONLY must be used to place items in the portfolio. Remember that bells and whistles do not count (sound, animation, slide transitions, etc.). Also, please be sure and place a divider page between each nine weeks.
Your portfolio
must include:
1. ALL WORK from the first nine weeks.
2. ALL WORK from the second nine weeks.
3. ALL WORK from the third nine weeks.
4. ALL WORK from the fourth nine weeks. See list in sidebar!
