PREPARING FOR A CAREER IN WEB DESIGN

To qualify for an entry-level job in Web design, you should have graphic design experience and basic knowledge of Web design tools and languages such as HTML, DHTML, and XML.  Successful designers work well as part of a team.  Many colleges and technical schools offer certification and degree programs in Web design or related fields.
